During one Sunday service this December, Groton Heights Baptist Church (GHBC) had an impromptu collection for MALTA to be able to purchase gifts for guests at area shelters and collected over $1000! By this generous outpouring, GHBC partnered with us to purchase the main items (for example fleece lined hoodies and pants in each guest’s size for the men at Fellowship House) while MALTA matched the value with other new donations of other items and goodies. MALTA then distributed the bags that will ensure guests have something wonderful to open on Christmas morning!
