Samaritan Swim 2022

On January 1st, 2022 we made a splash at Eastern Point Beach, Groton, CT! WCTY provided music and gave live updates to their listeners with Shelly Martinez on site. Swimmers took the plunge into the Sound at noon.

A handful of logical swimmers stayed knee deep while the rest went for an icy dip! Some swimmers were in and out while a few went for a real swim! Wow!

The Samaritan helps support the work that we do by funding some of our Bridging the Gap ministries, Friday night dinners for residents of the New London Homeless Hospitality Center, specialty (sizes not in stock, work clothes, etc) clothing & shoes purchases, among many other things! We are so grateful to everyone who has helped support Malta, thank you!
