Samaritan Swim 2024

On January 1st, 2024 we jumped into the Sound at Eastern Point Beach, Groton, CT! To the country tunes and live updates from WCTY swimmers dove in at noon!

There are always a few brave souls who swim around for a few minutes, but most had a quick dip and then joined spectators for refreshments and warm beverages.

The Samaritan helps support the work that we do by funding some of our Bridging the Gap ministries, Friday night dinners for residents of the New London Homeless Hospitality Center, and giving us the ability to purchase certain clothing, shoes, etc that we would not otherwise be able to provide, among many other things! We are so grateful to everyone who has helped support Malta, thank you!
